East Leake Churches Together Banner Group

On Saturday 26 July, 130-430, there will be in Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church's parish hall an exhibition of work from the East Leake Churches Together Banner Group which will be disbanding after 25 years of needlecraft.

From the two Millennium banners crafted in 2000 to the final work featuring Alice in Wonderland, this will be one of the last opportunities to see many of the projects which have been embroidered over the years under the creative leadership of Ann Sharpe (RIP). The Alice in Wonderland wall hanging was designed and intended for Rainbows Children’s Hospice and will be presented together with a final financial donation to the Hospice on that Saturday.

Everyone is very welcome to attend and join the Banner Group. Refreshments will be provided. If you are unable to come on Saturday 26 July, there will be further opportunities to see the display after mass on Sunday 27 July, 1230-230pm and Tuesday 29th July between 2-4pm.
